A Better Way to Grow Your Music Studio

I recently was referred by a close friend to a job leads site with a focus on teaching and private lessons. It’s called Thumbtack, and what I first saw about it is that they don’t take a commission from the teaching jobs you’re hired for, but rather through the purchasing of quote submissions. You pay them to send an offer to each individual you choose whose lesson criteria is a fit for you, and if you are chosen by the student from up to 5 competing quotes, you receive the full pay from each lesson with them, for as long as your lessons continue. I consider this far superior to other lesson referral programs that take a percentage from every lesson. I want my students to be paying me for ongoing teaching services I provide for them… not paying 25% of every lesson to the referral company. Just one steady half hour lesson a week can give me the ability to use that 25% to send my offer to at least 4 more students requesting lessons. That puts me in control of my advertising.

You can find my profile on Thumbtack, and if you are an educator yourself, I would highly recommend it to grow your business.
